How do you manage payments to artists for broadcast and cinema work, at home and abroad, without duplicating work across departments?

Basic and repeat fees, National Insurance, VAT and withholding tax for foreign artists, all need to be included in the TV department's production budgets, and calculated accurately by the finance department so payments can be made and returns made to HM Revenue & Customs.
